Oracle is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Information System Security Officer (ISSO) with a TS/SCI w/poly clearance to join our team Government Security Team supporting government clients. The position will be located in the Reston, VA area.

Must currently hold and have the ability to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly clearance.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the security authorization process, including documentation and compliance reviews and assessments.
• Performing regular Continuous Monitoring activities to identify potential vulnerabilities in information systems.
• Assess system compliance against NIST, DoD, and IC security requirements to include the NIST 800-53 and 800-171 controls, and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs)
• Collaborate with system owners, technical staff, and other organizational teams to ensure the security of new and existing systems and applications
• Investigating security incidents and breaches. Coordinating response activities to minimize damage and recover systems. Reporting incidents to appropriate stakeholders.
• Ensure that plans of actions and milestones (POAMs) or remediation plans are in place for vulnerabilities identified during risk assessments, audits, inspections, etc.
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• An understanding of information security principles, concepts, and best practices
• Knowledge of relevant security frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST, RMF)
• Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems)
• Ability to analyze security risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Technical expertise in operating systems (Oracle Linux), databases, and applications
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM)

US: Hiring Range in USD from $46.88 to $95.91 per hour; from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
