Responsibilities

• Participates in evaluating and installing security strategy and product lines for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
• Maintains and provides technical support for enterprise IT systems.
• Collaborates on implementing mobile business solutions and emerging technologies.
• Supports testing, development, and deployment across Windows, Mac OS, iOS, and Linux.
• Patches and manages third-party applications for Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
• Performs vulnerability scanning and risk mitigation.
• Reviews system logs to detect recurring security issues.
• Conducts root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Provides technical assistance to IT Shared Service teams, including incident response.

Job description

• Participates in the evaluation, installation, maintenance, and technical support of the security strategy and product lines for Windows, Macintosh, and Linux enterprise computing environments. Contributes to the ongoing support and maintenance of IT systems.
• Collaborates on the implementation of mobile business solutions, as well as emerging technologies that require testing, development, and deployment, including Windows, Mac OS, iOS, and Linux-based systems.
• Implements and maintains security software systems.
• Provides support and assistance in the management of third-party application patching, vulnerability scanning, and risk mitigation for Windows, Mac OS, and Linux systems.
• Assists in the review of system logs and reports to detect recurring security issues or errors, as well as performing root cause analysis and resolution. Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries from other IT Shared Service teams regarding errors, problems, or technical questions, including support for Incident Response.
• Develops, maintains, and analyzes performance measurements and metrics that enable the identification, reporting, and review of major indicators of quality, effectiveness, and success.
• Contributes to the security review of desktop applications required for use by departments and/or IT personnel.
• Assists in the regular review of endpoint security procedures, including health checks, system remediation, and vulnerability management.
