Job summary

VaishTechnologies LLC in Alpharetta, GA seeks an IT Security Analyst to install, rebuild and configure servers and related infrastructure, while enforcing standards and security practices. You will monitor systems, manage backups, and implement authentication, PKI, and Secure ID for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
• Five years of ACE server maintenance experience.
• Five years of experience providing managed service for authentication of end users; utilizing Secure Id and managing PKI for Clients.
• Willingness to travel on assignment to various unanticipated client sites within the U.S.

Responsibilities

Install new and rebuild existing servers, configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements. Install and configure systems such as GIS infrastructure applications or Asset Management applications. Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures. Contribute to and maintain system standards. Perform daily system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, review system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups. Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions. Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five years of ACE server maintenance experience.
