Job summary

Loft Federal is seeking an IT Systems Security Administrator in Colorado to translate policy into practice by hardening configurations, deploying security tools, and managing identity/access for on‑premises and cloud infrastructure.

You will help maintain compliance with CMMC 2.0 (Level 2) and NIST SP 800-171. The role is hands‑on, technical, and security‑driven, supporting enterprise security controls and collaboration with DevSecOps teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in Systems Administration with emphasis on IT security
• U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contracting compliance
• Active DoD Secret clearance required; ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Configure and harden Windows/Linux endpoints, servers, and networks to meet CIS Benchmarks or DISA STIGs
• Manage cloud environments (Microsoft 365 GCC High, AWS GovCloud, Google Cloud) configurations
• Implement and manage MFA, SSO, and IAM controls across environments
• Deploy and monitor security tools including EDR and SIEM
• Collaborate with DevSecOps to maintain NIST/CMMC compliance across pipelines and deployments
• Support investigations and vulnerability management lifecycle
