Job summary

Adaptive Teams seeks a hands-on IT security and endpoint management specialist for a US-based, fully remote engagement. You will manage endpoint protection across Mac and Windows, secure Google Workspace, and keep systems patched and backed up while documenting the environment.

You'll work directly with a single small business client (10–30 users), perform a transition project, then deliver ongoing lean maintenance with clear security practices and responsive support.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting 10–30 user small businesses.
• Hands-on macOS and Windows experience.
• Strong Google Workspace administration and security skills.
• Endpoint protection, patching, device security, and backups expertise.
• Huntress experience preferred; licenses may be provided.
• Must perform work personally, not primarily subcontracted.
• Strong communication, documentation, and security practices.
• References from similar small-business clients valued.
• US-based only.

Your Mission: Day to Day Responsibilities

• Manage endpoint protection and device security across Mac and Windows.
• Administer Google Workspace account security and access controls.

Your Toolbox: Skills to be Successful

• Strong experience supporting small businesses of roughly 10-30 users
• Hands-on experience with both macOS and Windows
• Strong Google Workspace administration and security experience
• Endpoint protection, patch management, device security, and backup expertise.
• Huntress experience strongly preferred, ideally with an existing Huntress partner account and the ability to provide licenses.
• Able to personally perform the work rather than primarily subcontracting it.
• Strong communication, documentation, and security practices.
• References from similar small-business clients are highly valued.
• US-based required.
