Job summary

The Huntington National Bank is seeking an IT Risk Director to oversee Information/Technology Availability and Value Delivery risk areas. This senior role acts as a 2nd line of defense, providing independent risk insights and credible challenge to ensure resilient technology delivery across the enterprise.

You will lead a high-performing team, shape the IT Risk Program strategy, and coordinate with 1st line risk groups and business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of work experience.
• 10+ years in a related role.
• Ability to work collaboratively and influence across a large and growing company.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to speak autonomously for the 2nd Line of Defense.
• Expert understanding of IT processes, risks and controls (IT risk and control frameworks such as COBIT).
• Ability to develop, attract, retain a high performing team; coach and develop colleagues at all levels.
• Experience in IT infrastructure engineering, application development (Agile/DevOps/CI/CD), IT change/incident/problem management, IT resiliency.
• Prior leadership in a large firm; financial services experience desired.
• Certifications such as ISACA CRISC/CISA/CISM, ISC2 CISSP/SSCP, ITIL.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing IT risk team.
• Provide risk management leadership across IT risk areas.
• Set IT Risk Program strategy and focus areas.
• Own IT Availability and Value Delivery sub-risks and related assessments.
• Lead the Agile Risk Framework across the Bank.
• Collaborate with business units and 1st line risk teams.
• Lead quarterly IT Risk Assessment reporting to oversight bodies.
• Provide 2nd line IT risk coverage for major business segments.
• Other duties as assigned.
