Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an IT Risk & Controls Auditor – Digital Asset to support the Digital Assets team remotely. This role focuses on technology risk and controls across financial reporting, compliance, and operational processes.

Strong knowledge of ITGCs,COSO/COBIT, and relevant systems is essential. The ideal candidate will perform audits, document findings, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure remediation and risk alignment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial reporting and information technology risks, processes, and controls.
• Experience with COSO, COBIT, or similar frameworks.
• Hands-on experience testing ITGC domains (change management, access, operations, systems development).
• Experience in audit, assurance, or risk management within technology environments.

Our client seeks a technology risk and controls professional to support the Digital Assets team by providing audit and assurance support across current and upcoming digital asset engagements. The role requires knowledge of controls surrounding financial reporting, compliance, and operational processes, including business process and IT management controls.

Rate: $80.00 to $95.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Provide technology risk and controls audit and assurance support for digital asset engagements.
• Assess and test controls related to financial reporting, compliance, and operational processes.
• Evaluate business process and IT management controls against established frameworks.
• Review and assess IT general controls across change management, access, operations, and systems development.
• Document findings, develop remediation recommendations, and support issue closure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align control activities with risk objectives.

Experience Requirements:

• Knowledge of financial reporting and information technology risks, processes, and controls.
• Experience with current and emerging technologies such as Oracle or SAP, Oracle Database, web development tools, virtualization, UNIX, Linux, and security technologies.
• Working knowledge of COSO, COBIT, or similar business and IT control frameworks.
• Hands-on experience testing and evaluating ITGC domains, including change management, access to programs and data, computer operations, and systems development.
• Experience in audit, assurance, or risk management within technology environments.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
