Job summary

SmartLogix in San Juan, Puerto Rico, seeks an IT Quality Control Analyst to plan, execute, and document software testing activities ensuring applications meet business requirements and quality standards.

You will collaborate with business, operations, and technology teams to identify defects, validate enhancements, support software releases, and contribute to the successful delivery of reliable technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/SE/IS or related field.
• 1–3 years in Software Testing, QA, IT QC, or related roles.
• Experience creating/executing test plans, test cases, test scripts.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and Regression Testing.
• Experience documenting, tracking, and validating defect resolution.
• Ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced env.
• Healthcare/regulated environments experience is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute test assets (plans, cases, scripts, metrics).
• Perform testing across SIT, UAT, and Regression phases.
• Validate functionality against requirements.
• Identify, document, report, track defects through resolution.
• Peer reviews of testing artifacts for quality.
• Prepare and maintain test data for validation activities.
• Document results and provide recommendations on readiness.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and end users to resolve issues.
• Support deployment and production validation activities.
• Ensure compliance with SDLC, QA processes.
