Job summary

Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) is seeking an Assistant Director of IT Project Portfolio Management to lead the PMO, govern IT project delivery, and translate institutional priorities into scoped, resourced initiatives. • Experience managing information technology projects with full life-cycle responsibility.
• Experience supervising or leading project management/technical staff.
• Experience with enterprise-scale technology projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud ecosystems and system modernization concepts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily project activities, schedules, deliverables, and status reporting across multiple concurrent projects.
• Supervise a small staff while managing the College’s complex technology projects.
• Direct technical staff and external vendor resources.
• Serve as a bridge between technical and business teams across initiatives.
