Job summary

Coho Consulting Group is seeking a Project Manager to support IT initiatives within the SOCOM Information Environment at Camp Lejeune, NC. The role involves planning, coordinating, executing, monitoring, and closing projects that deliver new or enhanced IT capabilities for USSOCOM and allied commands.

The ideal candidate will have a Top-Secret clearance, PMP certification, and experience with DoD or Federal programs, along with strong leadership and communication skills to engage government

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret Security Clearance required.
• Experience supporting DoD or Federal Government programs.
• PMP certification required.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, execute, and close assigned IT projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Monitor project performance, risks, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate project activities with Government stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ensure project objectives align with mission priorities and contractual requirements.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Track project progress and prepare status reports for leadership.
• Facilitate project meetings and coordinate action items.
• Support transition of completed projects into operational environments.
• Maintain project documentation and configuration records.
• Apply project management best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance project execution
