Job summary

Air Force Civilian Service seeks an Information Technology Specialist (PLCYPLN) / Circuit Provisioning Project Manager to support AFNWC at Hill AFB near Layton, UT. You will oversee transport project management across Hill AFB, OLs, and GSUs, ensuring highly available, secure network transport.

The role requires coordinating with DISA and vendors, managing procurement docs (SOW/PWS), and maintaining detailed network diagrams and asset inventories. DoD security and APDP requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT project management experience overseeing transport provisioning and long-haul networks.
• Strong liaison capabilities with external stakeholders, including DISA, vendors, and base squadrons.
• Experience in project scheduling, resource planning, and risk mitigation for IT/telecom programs.
• Familiarity with encryption protocols and secure routing to manage secure transport deployments.
• Knowledge of procurement documentation (SOW/PWS) and contract packaging for transport services.
• Excellent communication and briefing skills for DoD leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead transport project management and coordinate with external partners to ensure end-to-end connectivity.
• Plan and manage circuit provisioning, upgrade/decommissioning, and milestone tracking.
• Develop and translate requirements into SOW/PWS and contract documentation.
• Maintain comprehensive site-to-site network diagrams and asset inventories.
• Coordinate secure transport efforts for CCI/key material handling and risk assessments.
