Job summary

The University of North Florida Board of Trustees seeks an IT Project Manager to lead technology and business projects from initiation through closure. You will coordinate with stakeholders, sponsor teams, vendors, and departments to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include defining scope, creating project artifacts, managing risks, and communicating status to executive leadership. A CAPM or progress toward certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree plus 1+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years of relevant experience.
• CAPM certification or ability to obtain CAPM preferred.
• Proven leadership, communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring and closure of technology/business projects.
• Define scope, objectives, deliverables, success criteria, and resources with stakeholders.
• Develop charters, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and governance artifacts.
• Communicate progress, risks and recommendations to sponsors and leadership.
