Please review the following job description:

Oversee multiple high-priority projects and/or business unit programs, requiring significant resources and high levels of integration. Ensure projects are documented, prioritized, and executed to meet requirements. Focus on customer satisfaction by managing commitments and resolving issues, including communication with sponsors, stakeholders, and management, including senior leaders and executives. Provide vision and strategy to meet business needs and objectives. Interface with all affected areas, including end users, business stakeholders, support functions, and vendors. Ensure adherence to quality standards, policies, and processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead management of large-scale, high-risk projects by facilitating project charter, objectives, scope, metrics, quality, schedule, resourcing, vendor management, dependencies, risks, reporting, stakeholder engagement, business readiness, and value realization.
  • Manage project progression through defining/managing project plans, phase reviews, change requests, and stakeholder reports. Maintain documentation at all phases.
  • Provide leadership, vision, and direction for project teams and business partners, working cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes, ensuring professional communication among stakeholders.
  • Manage projects throughout their lifecycle, evaluate progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with Risk and other corporate policies.
  • Develop strong business relationships to anticipate and address client needs.
  • Proactively develop innovative approaches, risk mitigation strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor and coach team members and project managers/analysts, providing performance feedback.

Span of impact: Corporation; multiple lines of business; Budget impact: $10M to $100M; Duration: 1-5 years; Complexity: medium to large.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent education and training.
  • 10 years of progressive project management experience, including 8 years of relevant business experience.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience managing program investments, governance, controls, scope, schedule, budget, and delivering business value.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills at an executive level.
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex, changing environment.
  • Proven leadership skills and a successful project management record.

Preferred:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Three years of financial services project experience.
  • Experience with enterprise issue management, working with technology, risk, regulatory, and audit partners.
  • Familiarity with Archer eGRC platform.
  • Understanding of technical compliance activities like cybersecurity, identity access management, and architecture.
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Rally.
Other Requirements

Constant sitting, occasional standing and walking, ability to interpret information, work with office equipment, availability for scheduled hours and overtime, up to 25% travel.
