Qualifications

• Master's degree; OR bachelor's degree and two years of IT project management experience; OR associate's degree and four years of IT experience to include two years of IT project management; OR High school diploma or GED and six years of IT experience to include two years of IT project management.

Responsibilities

• The IT Project Manager II serves as a facilitator for projects led by the Office of Information Technology (OIT) and provides guidance to IT operational managers and project teams across campus.
• Focuses on best practices for project management on both departmental and enterprise-wide IT projects.
• Manages medium, moderately complex, critical and non-critical IT projects requiring knowledge and demonstrated expertise in project management.
• Oversees, creates, and implements project plans.
• Provides feedback and mentorship for entry-level OIT project managers.
