Job summary

Venatôre is seeking a part-time IT Project Manager to support the Florida Department of Citrus during Florida PALM transition, leading readiness activities and coordinating with stakeholders. Hybrid model with onsite at Bartow HQ and occasional travel to Tallahassee; about 20 hours per week through June 30, 2027.

You will manage project plans, milestones, risks, and communications, deliver readiness workshops, training coordination, and reporting to the Deputy Executive Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience.
• PMP or other PM certification required.
• 7+ years IT experience and 4+ years project leadership experience.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
• Willingness to travel to Tallahassee and onsite presence in Bartow, FL.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute the Florida PALM Readiness project plan with milestones, risks, and resources.
• Lead department-level readiness activities through Florida PALM implementation.
• Attend agency readiness workshops and coordinate travel as required.
• Coordinate readiness workbook activities and monitor milestones and gaps.
• Manage stakeholder communications and reporting to leadership.
• Support data cleansing, process remediation, and integration initiatives.
