Job summary

Straz Center for the Performing Arts is seeking an IT Project Manager to join our Information Technology Team for planning, leading, and delivering technology initiatives aligned with organizational objectives. You will manage full project lifecycles for infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise apps, digital transformation, and business process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent IT and enterprise technology projects from initiation through implementation.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, communication plans, and executive status reports.
• Coordinate internal departments, external vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.
• Facilitate governance meetings, stakeholder communications, and executive reporting.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Support change management, user adoption, testing, training, and deployment.
• Establish and improve project management standards, templates, and best practices.

Straz Center for the Performing Arts is seeking anIT Project Managerto join our Information Technology Teamfor planning, leading, and delivering technology initiatives that support the organization's strategic objectives. This position manages the full project lifecycle for infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, digital transformation, and business process improvement projects while partnering with business leaders across the organization to ensure successful outcomes. As an individual contributor, the IT Project Manager provides leadership to cross-functional teams, vendors, consultants, and stakeholders, establishing effective project governance, driving collaboration, managing risks, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational priorities.

Essential Functions:

• Lead multiple concurrent IT and enterprise technology projects from initiation through implementation.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, communication plans, and executive status reports.
• Coordinate internal departments, external vendors, consultants, and implementation partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate project governance meetings, stakeholder communications, and executive reporting.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Support organizational change management, user adoption, testing, training, and successful solution deployment.
• Establish and continuously improve project management standards, documentation, templates, and best practices.
• Partner with business leaders to prioritize initiatives that improve operational efficiency, customer experience, data utilization, and organizational effectiveness.
• Support strategic technology planning, digital transformation initiatives, and enterprise project portfolio management.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.
• Strong communication, organizational, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or similar certification.
• Experience implementing enterprise business applications such as CRM, ERP, ticketing, financial, e-commerce, fundraising, education, or venue management systems.
• Experience within performing arts, nonprofit, hospitality, higher education, entertainment, or similar customer-focused organizations.

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Five (5) or more years of project management experience, including at least three (3) years managing technology projects.
