Job summary

Computer World Services is seeking a senior Project Manager to oversee DoD information network projects within the AFIN/Cyberspace Operations framework. You will manage scope, cost, schedule, staffing, vendors, and deliverables, ensuring on-time completion and budget compliance.

Responsibilities include coordinating onboarding across 688 CW units, validating requirements with stakeholders, and maintaining artifacts in eMASS/ITIPS. TS/SCI clearance and IAT II required; PMP/ITIL is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 10+ years of related experience.
  • Top Secret (TS/SCI) security clearance to start.
  • IAT II certification required; PMP and ITIL v4 Foundation desired.
  • Shift – Days; 24/7/365 mission and extended hours may be required.

  • Provide project management support, coordinating and validating operational requirements for onboarding projects onto the AFIN.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and partner agencies to validate and certify projects prior to implementation.
  • Coordinate operational requirements across 688 CW units.
  • Work with SMEs and Change Sponsors to review project documentation and Implementation Plans.
  • Support PMOs with identifying, planning, and scheduling operational resources for projects on the AFIN.
  • Collaborate with AMAC and other functions for tactical command and control of onboarding major Air Force Cyber Projects.
  • Serve as the front-door to the 688 CW for all AFIN projects.
  • Monitor and report on onboarding from introduction to implementation (cradle-to-grave).
  • Support IA/RMF review of ATO and Certification & Accreditation packages.
  • Maintain controls and artifacts in eMASS and ITIPS for 688 CW systems for budgets and compliance.
  • Have DBA experience and basic SQL coding knowledge.
  • Support SCRM operations through oversight of IT asset management.

Job description

In support of the Air Force Information Network (AFIN)/Cyberspace Operations mission, perform Project Management.

Manages and oversees all aspects of a technology project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget.

Has overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing, vendors, and contractual deliverables. Collects requirements and develops detailed project plans and timelines.

Monitors project milestones and generates regular status reports. Evaluates and manages risk. Incorporates quality measures and standards to project deliverables.

Possesses strong knowledge of DoW networks and related technologies.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Provide project management support, including coordinating and validating operational requirements and identifying, planning, scheduling, and coordinating operational resource support for the implementation and onboarding of projects onto the AFIN. This task includes:

  • Coordination with stakeholders and partner agencies as required to validate and certify projects prior to implementation process

  • Coordination of operational requirements across 688 CW units

  • Working closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Change Sponsors for project support to include the review of project documentation and Implementation Plans

  • Supporting PMOs with identifying, planning, and scheduling operational resources needed to implement projects on the AFIN

  • Working closely with the AFIN Mission Assurance Center (AMAC) and other supporting functions to provide the tactical command and control (C2) of the on-boarding process for major Air Force Cyber Projects.

  • Act as the “front-door” to the 688 CW for all AFIN projects

  • Coordinating, monitoring, and reporting on the on-boarding process from project introduction to implementation (cradle-to-grave support)

  • Support Information Assurance/Risk Management Framework (IA/RMF) review of ATO packages and Certification & Accredi tation (C&A) packages

  • Familiar with maintaining controls and artifacts in the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Information Technology Investment Portfolio Suite (ITIPS) for the registration and maintenance of 688 CW systems to report budgets, IA / Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), and other common compliance and auditing tools

  • Database Administrator (DBA) experience and basic SQL coding knowledge

  • Support Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) operations through oversite of IT asset management

Education & Experience
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent and 10+ years of related experience
Certifications
  • Required: IAT II
  • Desired: Program Management Professional (PMP) and ITIL v4 Foundation
Security Clearance
  • REQUIRED: Top Secret (TS/SCI) to start
Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)
  • Shift – Days. This is a 24/7/365 mission and extended hours/days may be required.
