Job summary

The Red Gate Group is seeking an IT Project Manager to support a Department of Defense intelligence customer. You will own the full set of project management artifacts across several projects, including plans, scoping docs, weekly status updates, and meeting agendas.

You will drive program and project team meetings from concept through completion. Responsibilities include preparing detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, and resource plans, plus status reporting.

• 8+ years of IT project management experience, including recent work within the last 2 years.
• Master's degree in a related field or approved alternate experience as listed.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a current CI polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Own project management artifacts across selected projects, including plans, scoping documents, weekly status updates, and meeting agendas.
• Lead program and project team meetings with stakeholders from concept through completion.
• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports.

Project management artifacts are how a new program office keeps many moving efforts honest, and someone has to own them end to end. The Red Gate Group is seeking an IT Project Manager to support a Department of Defense intelligence customer, accountable for the full set of project management artifacts across a select number of projects. You will own project plans, scoping documents, weekly status updates, and the weekly team meeting agenda, and you will lead program and project team meetings in coordination with stakeholders.
From original concept through completion, you will prepare and refine detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, and you will drive process improvements and technology solutions that enhance team productivity and the quality and consistency of execution against targeted project initiatives.

You Have

• 8+ years of IT project management experience, including recent experience within the last 2 years. This experience requirement is firm and cannot be met through education or certifications.
• Master's degree in a related field, or one of the following in its place: an Associate's degree in a related field and 4 additional years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 additional years of relevant experience, or 6 additional years of relevant experience. The additional years used in place of the degree are on top of the 8 year experience requirement above, not counted within it.

In plain terms: with a Master's you need 8 years, with a Bachelor's 10, with an Associate's 12, and with no degree 14.

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a current CI polygraph

• PMP or equivalent certification
• Experience producing recurring contract deliverables such as monthly activity reports and quarterly business reviews
