Job summary

Job description

Immediate need for a talented IT Project Manager. This is a 04 Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Jersey City, NJ (Onsite).

Pay Range: $36 - $38/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• In this position, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving the Initial Project Funding Request (IPR), Budget Application Form (BAF), Project Change Request (PCR), and Request for Agile Drawdown (RAD) submitted by project teams.
• This includes ensuring adherence to the Project Delivery Life Cycle (PDLC) and Approved Iterative Methodology (AIM), assessing the feasibility and justification of project plans (cost, schedule, scope), optimizing costs, identifying risks, and verifying that the appropriate level of detail is provided within the documentation.
• Responsibilities include providing guidance to project teams to resolve complex situations, mitigate risks, and apply PDLC or AIM in unique situations; offering support with toolsets (Project Portfolio Portal - in-house tool, MS Project, Plan View, etc.); and coordinating with the Home Office in Japan for IPR/BAF/PCR/RAD approvals when required.
• Additionally, you will package IPR/BAF/PCR/RAD based on information provided by Project Managers (summarizing the request, inputting information into cost plans, etc.) for expedited approvals.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Must have skills: Project management , Project governance and PMO
• 2-5 years of experience in IT project management in financial industry is preferred.
• Attention to detail is a MUST - validation of numbers and dates is required daily.
• Requires being onsite at the NJ office (Harborside) 4 days a week.
• Service To be performed: Review and approval of Initial Project Funding Request (IPR), Budget Application Form (BAF), Project Change Request (PCR), and Request for Agile Drawdown (RAD)
• Deliverable (IPR/BAF/PCR/RAD) package preparation support
