Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Identify required resources; research project data, procedures, and history for a thorough understanding of project direction.
  • Generate and analyze statistical data reports.
  • Develop, prepare, and manage project plans through to completion.
  • Communicate activity progress to involved parties.
  • Resolve issues involving stakeholders when appropriate and transition the program to management personnel.
  • Participate in oral presentations.
  • Develop and provide training as needed.
  • Ensure completion of required release materials.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Administer company personnel policies in all areas, following staffing standards and training recommendations.
  • Interview, hire, and establish performance development plans; conduct performance discussions.
  • Provide support, guidance, leadership, and motivation to promote maximum performance.

Additional Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Support the organization's quality programs.
  • Travel as required.

Qualifications, Education, and Licensing:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or Quantitative Analysis from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Computer Science courses preferred.
  • Six (6) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required; two (2) years of general business experience with emphasis on data analysis or planning.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of related field procedures, insurance-related procedures, and/or managed care systems and operations.
  • Good knowledge of project management.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in PC and Microsoft Office products.
  • Analytical and interpretive skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies.
