Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Identify required resources; research project data, procedures, and history for a thorough understanding of project direction.
- Generate and analyze statistical data reports.
- Develop, prepare, and manage project plans through to completion.
- Communicate activity progress to involved parties.
- Resolve issues involving stakeholders when appropriate and transition the program to management personnel.
- Participate in oral presentations.
- Develop and provide training as needed.
- Ensure completion of required release materials.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Administer company personnel policies in all areas, following staffing standards and training recommendations.
- Interview, hire, and establish performance development plans; conduct performance discussions.
- Provide support, guidance, leadership, and motivation to promote maximum performance.
Additional Functions and Responsibilities:
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Support the organization's quality programs.
- Travel as required.
Qualifications, Education, and Licensing:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or Quantitative Analysis from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Computer Science courses preferred.
- Six (6) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required; two (2) years of general business experience with emphasis on data analysis or planning.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of related field procedures, insurance-related procedures, and/or managed care systems and operations.
- Good knowledge of project management.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Proficiency in PC and Microsoft Office products.
- Analytical and interpretive skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies.
