Job summary

Nassau Financial Group offers a 10-week summer internship in our Hartford, CT office to prepare students for careers in IT project management. You’ll work alongside experienced project managers to contribute to active initiatives and learn the full project life cycle, from planning to closeout.

You will gain hands-on experience planning, coordinating, monitoring, and reporting on IT and business projects, with exposure to SDLC, audit controls, and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree that aligns with Project Management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with all levels of Nassau management and external partners.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings and independently.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, monitoring, and reporting of IT and business projects.
• Assist with defining requirements, test plans, and documentation throughout the project life cycle.
• Prepare status updates and maintain project artifacts for stakeholders.
• Contribute to the SDLC, PM checklist, and audit controls as part of project governance.
