Job description

Henlius is a global, innovation-driven and patient-centric biopharmaceutical company committed to delivering high-quality, affordable biologic therapies to patients worldwide. As the company expands its overseas operations, the Overseas Project & Maintenance Manager will lead the delivery and ongoing support of enterprise applications across international markets.

The role will primarily support the United States business, while also providing limited SAP project and operational support for Japan and Singapore. Key responsibilities include leading SAP and CRM implementation, rollout, enhancement and integration initiatives; coordinating testing, cutover, go-live and hypercare; and owning the day-to-day operation of SAP, CRM, expense management and other overseas business applications.

The manager will serve as the primary bridge between overseas business teams and China headquarters. The role will gather and prioritize new requirements, coordinate solution design and headquarters resources, manage implementation partners and technology vendors, and ensure successful delivery and adoption. For the U.S. market, the role will also coordinate SAP localization, distributor and wholesaler EDI, 3PL system integration, interface monitoring, issue resolution and continuous application improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery

Lead end-to-end SAP and CRM implementation, rollout, enhancement and integration projects, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, vendors, testing, cutover, go-live and hypercare.

Translate business requirements into practical system solutions, review functional and integration designs, and ensure alignment across business processes, application architecture and project timelines.

Drive project governance, status reporting, issue escalation, decision tracking, vendor accountability and executive communication.

Coordinate system integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, business readiness, training, cutover rehearsals and post-go-live stabilization.

SAP Functional Leadership & Overseas Integration

Act as the SAP functional lead for commercial and supply chain processes, with emphasis on SD/MM, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, logistics execution, billing and financial integration.

Support U.S. SAP localization and integration with Title-3PL and traditional 3PL providers, specialty distributors, wholesalers and other downstream partners.

Manage EDI and interface requirements covering orders, shipments, invoices, payments, returns, chargebacks, credits and reconciliation, and establish effective monitoring and exception-handling processes.

Provide limited SAP rollout, enhancement and operational support for Japan and Singapore, working effectively across cultures, organizations and time zones.

Application Maintenance & Operational Support

Own day-to-day operations for overseas SAP, CRM, expense management and related enterprise applications, ensuring service stability and timely business support.

Provide hands-on functional troubleshooting, incident resolution and root-cause analysis; coordinate access, master data, minor enhancements, releases, interfaces and vendor support.

Establish sustainable support processes, service monitoring, documentation, knowledge transfer and vendor management following project implementation.

Continuously identify opportunities to improve system reliability, user experience, process efficiency and operational controls.

Serve as the primary bridge between overseas business teams and China headquarters for new requirements, clarifying business needs, coordinating solution design and resources, and following through to delivery and adoption.

Coordinate dependencies across SAP, CRM, 3PL, expense management, finance, data, HRIS and other enterprise systems.

Partner with commercial, supply chain, finance, HR and other functions to align master data, business processes, interfaces, priorities and support responsibilities.

Ensure clear communication, visibility and escalation between regional teams, China headquarters and external partners.

Stakeholder Management

Key Stakeholders: Overseas commercial, supply chain, finance, HR and management teams; China headquarters IT and business functions; implementation partners; 3PL providers; distributors and other technology vendors.

Level of Influence: High; expected to align cross-functional stakeholders, challenge solution designs and drive decisions across regions and organizations.

Exposure: Frequent interaction with regional leaders, headquarters stakeholders and external partners, requiring confidence, ownership and strong communication.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related field.

8+ years of SAP consulting, implementation or enterprise application experience, including project leadership and post-go-live support responsibility.
