In-N-Out Burger is seeking an IT Project Coordinator to join our IT PMO in Irvine, CA. This full-time, in-office role supports small IT projects, coordinating tasks, timelines, and deliverables while liaising with technical teams to ensure alignment with customer needs.

You will assist on larger programs, participate in sprint planning, and help maintain project documentation. Strong communication, organization, and familiarity with Jira/Asana/Confluence are essential.

• Minimum 1+ year of experience in project coordination or similar role.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management practices.
• Experience with project lifecycle concepts: scope, timelines, resources, risks, deliverables.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Come join our family at In-N-Out Burger! The In-N-Out Burger IT Project Management Office team has an excellent opportunity for an IT Project Coordinator, located in the Irvine, CA office*.

The IT Project Coordinator will report directly to the IT PMO Manager and help to coordinate and support smaller, internal IT projects, or assist on larger projects by managing tasks, facilitating communication, tracking progress, and working closely with technical teams to ensure projects meet timelines and customer needs.

*This role is based full-time in office*

General Responsibilities

• Coordinate, support and manage smaller IT projects from initiation through closeout, supporting scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables in accordance with IT PMO standards.
• Support Agile and Waterfall project activities, including sprint planning, scrum meetings, project schedules, and task tracking.
• Lead and facilitate project meetings, document key decisions and action items, and follow up with project teams to support timely completion.
• Partner with technical leads and cross-functional teams to track project risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes, escalating when appropriate.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including Project Charters, Change Orders, RFI/RFP materials, rollout documentation, and training guides.
• Maintain project information and team coordination through tools such as Jira, Asana, and Confluence.
• Identify opportunities to improve PMO processes, tools, and project delivery practices.

Work Schedule and Benefits

• Full-time position, Non-exempt, Hourly
• Office Hours in Irvine, CA: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
• Department needs will call for occasional overtime

• Pay Range: $32.00 - $35.50/hour

Qualifications for In-N-Out Associates

• 2+ years of In-N-Out Burger Store or Support experience required.
• Store leadership experience preferred, including experience as a Shift Manager, Store Trainer, All Star, or similar role.

Qualifications

• Previous or Current employment with In-N-Out Burger highly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 1+ year of experience in project coordination, project support, or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of project lifecycle concepts, including scope, timelines, resources, risks, and deliverables.
• Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project management practices.
• Experience with or exposure to project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Asana, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, time-management, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively across teams, and adapt to changing project needs.
• Comfortable learning and working with new technology, systems, and processes.

Work Location Details

In-N-Out Burger plans to bring its west coast headquarters team back together under one roof by the end of 2029. After maintaining two Southern California office locations for many years, the company will permanently close its Irvine office in 2029 and once again headquarter the company's western territory solely in Baldwin Park, California, where the company was founded in 1948.

Newly hired Associates in Irvine will be eligible to participate in the group move to Tennessee with relocation assistance or work from our western headquarters in Baldwin Park, CA, upon its opening in 2029.
