Position Specific Description
Power Delivery IT is excited to bring AI-driven application development to shape the grid of the tomorrow! This role will focus on applications that are used to analyze and plan future expansions of the electric grid, including the emerging role of rooftop solar and battery storage. Your will be r esponsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that support business applications used by FPL’s Distribution, Transmission and Substation Engineering teams. The role partners with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop software solutions.
Write, test, debug, and maintain application code.
Perform unit and integration testing.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as quarterly and sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
Support CI/CD processes and software releases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business value.
Technical Skills
