Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an IT Program Manager to lead technical activities for government-related systems from Arlington, VA, with a hybrid work model. The role covers implementation, upgrades, testing, and operations, coordinating with multiple stakeholders and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Required are a Master’s degree in IT or a related field and a Project Management Certification, plus the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management, or a related field.
• 1.5 years of additional experience can substitute for 1 year of a typical degree program.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT management including systems development, network administration, or technical operations.
• Project Management Certification (e.g., PMI PMP).
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Work onsite Monday thru Thursday and Telework on Fridays.

• Oversees network services, server administration, cybersecurity, and cloud platforms.

• Acts as a primary liaison between the IT department and other agency departments and stakeholders.

We are currently seeking a IT Program Manager to join our team in Arlington, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Job Summary

The Technical Director directs and manages technical activities related to implementation, transition, upgrades, testing, break fix, operations and maintenance. The Technical Director serves as an operational agency Point of Contact and contact for government‑owned, external vendor solution elements for interoperability activities, communications, and escalations. The Technical Director performs technical engineering requirements associated with procurement, sustainment, modification, and performance of specific systems or sub‑systems; provides technical guidance, data analysis, reports, assist in the coordination of all technical activities to include system analysis and facilities with Government oversight for inherently Government activities that require a decision or that might obligate the Government. The Technical Director ensures any performance degradations not specifically and directly delivered services under this call order can be supported in the operational model with the greatest efficiency and least government staff activity. The Technical Director ensures technology alignment to the strategy, roadmap, and technical architecture decisions of the government. The Technical Director has strong leadership, communication and project management skills, in‑depth technical knowledge and the ability to adapt to evolving technologies.

Basic Qualifications

• Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management, or a related field.
• One‑and‑one‑half (1.5) years of additional experience can substitute for one (1) year of a typical degree program.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT management to include systems development, network administration, or technical operations.
• Project Management Certification (example: PMI PMP Certification).
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Work onsite Monday thru Thursday and Telework on Fridays

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with demonstrated and proven ability to manage staff, communicate with non-technical staff and officials, and drive organizational change.
• Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS
• Understanding of government IT standards, requirements, best practices, etc.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines concurrently in a fast‑paced environment.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $127,792 - $212,988. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. If the position offered in temporary, the position will not be eligible for incentive compensation.
