Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC in Reston, VA seeks an experienced IT Program/Project Manager to lead data-driven projects and coordinate migration and infrastructure initiatives. You will compile project data, report to management, and serve as the liaison among network engineers, development teams, and customer management.

The role emphasizes Office 365 migrations, Google Workspace support, and Unified Endpoint Management using SCCM, Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Azure AD.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 8–12 years' relevant experience plus a degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required.
• Four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a college degree is required

Responsibilities

• Create for measurables and tracking project
• Compiles project data and reports on status of key projects to management
• Consult with management and customers regarding product feasibility and viability of network infrastructure plans and designs and includes emerging technology and product supportability into design and implementation
• Provide team with data analysis and digital collaboration, O365 upgrades for 160K machines prior to user migration to Office 365, and review and analysis of user information to schedule weekly migrations.
• Serve as liaison between network engineers, development team and customer management
• White glove treatment for ELT O365
• Provide advanced support for the diagnosis and resolution of complex problems to ensure minimal disruption of mission-critical systems and applications
• Coordination of migration issues/concerns with Service Desk, and other groups impacted by both machine upgrades and user migrations
• Support Google Workspace
• Oversight and technical project management of workstreams focusing on Unified Endpoint Management solutions such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM, Intune, Co-management, Windows Autopilot, Azure Active Directory)
• Provide analysis and recognize areas of potential risk, schedule slippage
• Work with several cross functional teams and organizations
• Be able to create content, PowerPoint or executive or peer presentable material without extensive rework by others
• Track actions, record detailed meeting minutes, assign, and follow up with responsible parties and stakeholders on action plans
