Job summary

Brooksource in Chicago is seeking an IT Procurement Analyst to manage daily procurement, asset tracking, and technology expense activities within a global IT organization. The role is contract-based, full-time, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring about one day onsite weekly.

The candidate will handle purchases, invoices, and asset records across lifecycles, collaborating with IT, Accounting, and business teams to ensure accurate processing and cost control.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT/technology procurement or related field.
• Hands-on with procurement processes (orders, invoicing, tracking).
• Experience tracking IT assets and inventories through lifecycle.
• Ability to correlate asset data with technology expenses.
• Familiar with ERP/ITSM/asset management systems.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day IT procurement activities for hardware, software, devices and services.
• Process requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and related docs.
• Place and track technology orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Follow up on outstanding orders, invoices, and payments with vendors.
• Maintain accurate IT asset and inventory records and lifecycle updates.
• Assist with asset disposal, replacement, or decommissioning processes.
• Support device expense management and related cost insights.
• Update procurement and asset data in systems and generate reports.
