Vertex Computer Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT procurement professional to manage end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on use of SAP Ariba and SAP Concur to handle requisitions, purchase orders, and invoice processing for IT spend including software, SaaS, hardware, and cloud services. The candidate will track budgets, coordinate with Accounts Payable and vendors, and support month-end activities and spend reporting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT procurement experience across software, SaaS, hardware and cloud services.
• Strong grasp of Procure-to-Pay, PO approvals, and vendor coordination.
• Experience with spend tracking and budget reporting using Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end P2P processes including requisitions, POs, approvals and PO closure.
• Utilize SAP Ariba and SAP Concur to support procurement workflows.
• Coordinate invoice processing, resolve discrepancies with Accounts Payable and vendors.
• Track IT procurement spend, open POs, commitments and budgets; support month-end closes.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Procurement and vendors to ensure compliant purchasing.

we are seeking an experienced IT procurement professional with strong hands‑on experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations. The candidate will manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoice processing, vendor coordination, and IT spend tracking. Extensive practical experience with SAP Ariba or SAP Concur, as the candidate will work extensively on theese platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end P2P process, including requisitions, purchase orders, approvals, amendments, receipts, and PO closure.
• Use SAP Ariba and SAP Concur extensively to support procurement, purchasing, and related financial workflows.
• Coordinate invoice processing, resolve discrepancies, and work with Accounts Payable and vendors on payment issues.
• Track IT procurement spend, open purchase orders, commitments, and budgets.
• Support month‑end activities, spend reporting, and financial reconciliations.
• Coordinate with IT teams, Finance, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and vendors to ensure timely and compliant purchasing operations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and follow company policies and internal controls.

Required Skills & Experience

• Mandatory hands‑on experience with SAP Ariba/SAP Concur.
• Experience in IT procurement, purchasing operations, or Procure-to-Pay (P2P), preferably supporting IT spend such as software, SaaS, hardware, cloud services, or IT professional services.
• Strong understanding of purchase orders, invoice processing, approvals, and vendor coordination.
• Experience with budget tracking, spend reporting, and Excel-based reconciliations.
• Good communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
