Job summary

The candidate will manage VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter, Nutanix AHV, Windows Server AD/GP, and drive patching, backups, and DR planning while ensuring NERC CIP compliance and robust cyber defenses.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT/OT Systems Administration experience across enterprise infrastructure and virtualization.
• SCADA/GMS administration and support.
• Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter.
• Nutanix AHV and hyperconverged infrastructure expertise.
• Windows Server administration and AD/GP.
• DNS/DHCP/TCP/IP networking proficiency.
• Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Security monitoring and endpoint protection deployment.
• Patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• NERC CIP compliance knowledge and cybersecurity controls.

Responsibilities

Job description

IT/OT Systems Administrator responsible for maintaining SCADA/GMS platforms, managing virtualized infrastructure, ensuring NERC CIP compliance, and supporting mission‑critical systems for a critical infrastructure organization. This role supports the reliability and security of operational technology environments, working closely with IT, OT, vendors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support SCADA/GMS and other OT applications.

• Manage VMware, Nutanix, and hyperconverged infrastructure environments.

• Perform server administration, patch management, system upgrades, and infrastructure troubleshooting.

• Support disaster recovery, backup/recovery operations, and high-availability solutions.

• Ensure compliance with NERC CIP standards, cybersecurity policies, and operational procedures.

• Partner with IT, OT, vendors, and business stakeholders to maintain system reliability and security.

• 10+ years of IT/OT Systems Administration experience, including enterprise infrastructure and virtualization support
