Job summary

Zync. is seeking an IT/OT Security Manager to lead governance in a KRITIS/IEC62443 and NIS2 context within Munich's hybrid environment.

You will shape security strategy for industrial IT/OT, collaborating with production and engineering to protect critical services. The role requires German C1+ and strong English, hands-on experience in industrial cybersecurity, and familiarity with IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and BSI/KRITIS controls.

Qualifications

• German language at C1+ level and strong English required.
• Experience in IT/OT cybersecurity within industrial environments.
• Solid knowledge of IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIS2 and KRITIS requirements.
• Experience with OT systems and industrial control environments.
• Comfortable engaging with technical and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IT/OT security governance in line with ISO27001 and IEC62443.
• Manage NIS2 and KRITIS compliance across industrial environments.
• Oversee risk management, audits, and security control frameworks (including BSI).
• Support incident response and vulnerability management across IT and OT systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and IT teams across multiple sites.

IT/OT Security Manager (KRITIS/IEC62443/NIS2) - €100k - Munich (Hybrid)

You will work in a highly regulated KRITIS environment where IT and OT security converge across complex, large-scale systems, and help to secure operations surrounding essential services, which the entire world feels the benefits of!

Responsibilities

• You will develop and maintain IT/OT security governance in line with ISO27001 and IEC62443
• You manage NIS2 and KRITIS compliance across industrial environments
• You will oversee risk management, audits, and security control frameworks (including BSI)
• You will support incident response and vulnerability management across IT and OT systems
• You will collaborate with engineering, production, and IT teams across multiple sites

Required Skills

• You have C1+ German and strong English skills
• You have experience in IT/OT cybersecurity within industrial or KRITIS environments
• You have strong knowledge of IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIS2, and KRITIS requirements
• You have experience working with OT systems and industrial control environments
• You are confident engaging with technical and senior stakeholders

Desired Skills

• You have certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer
• You have experience with BSI IT-Grundschutz or similar German frameworks
• You have exposure to manufacturing, automation, or smart factory environments
