Job summary

Inceed, L.L.C. partners with a Houston-based industrial leader to hire an IT/OT Manager. This hands-on leader will align plant operations with modern IT/OT solutions, improving reliability, security, and performance across facilities.

The role oversees IT/OT initiatives, manages engineers and vendors, and drives convergence of MES, SCADA, PI environments. Emphasis on OT cybersecurity and compliance. Direct-hire with strong benefits and a $160k–$180k salary.

Qualifications

• Experience managing IT/OT environments in industrial settings.
• Familiarity with Maximo, PI, and SCADA systems.
• Experience supporting industrial networks and infrastructure.
• Background in OT cybersecurity or NIST/IEC 62443 frameworks.
• Experience with MES or industrial applications.
• Ability to manage engineers, technicians, and vendors.
• Experience in manufacturing, refining, chemical, or energy facilities.
• Knowledge of cloud integration with OT systems.

Compensation: $160,000 - $180,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Houston, Texas

This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys connecting industrial operations with modern technology. In this role, you will help support and improve the systems that keep complex facilities running efficiently, with a focus on reliability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead IT/OT initiatives across industrial and plant environments
• Support SCADA, DCS, PLC, and industrial network systems
• Oversee OSIsoft PI or AVEVA PI-related environments
• Drive IT/OT convergence and operational technology integration
• Partner with engineers, technicians, and vendors on delivery needs
• Support remote monitoring and control capabilities
• Help maintain OT cybersecurity and compliance alignment

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Working knowledge of Maximo, PI, and SCADA systems
