Job summary

Fluor Corporation seeks an IT Project Manager to maintain planning, monitoring, and reporting processes and translate customer needs into practical IT solutions. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, lead status meetings, and ensure milestones are met through effective escalation and resource management.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a government contracting environment with diverse stakeholders and complex requirements.

Qualifications

  • Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent with five years of related experience, or nine years if non-degreed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job and ability to learn applicable statutes and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Participate with cross-functional team members in issue identification, process impacts, and solution development discussions to optimize end-to-end solutions.
  • Leverage outside vendors, contractors, technical teams, and other departments to drive for results.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Basic Job Requirements
  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and five (5) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to nine (9) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
  • Accredited degree or global equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related technical discipline
  • May require Certified Network Engineer (CNE or CNE/NT) or Certified Network Administrator (CNA) credentials or other applicable certifications
  • Five (5) years related experience in technical services for hardware/software engineering and/or production support of Information Technology (IT) services
  • Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs
  • Demonstrated strong technical and non-technical communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills
