Job summary

Point72’s Technology team is hiring for a client-facing desktop support role in Stamford, CT. You will support executives, diagnose issues across PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and video conferencing, and advise on technology and policies.

The role requires a strong background in IT support within financial services and willingness to travel. The team emphasizes AI-driven solutions and enterprise agile methods.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of experience in a client service, desktop support, or technical support role.
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science, or related discipline.
• Experience supporting investment professionals in the financial industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of market data and electronic trading platforms, including Bloomberg and Neovest.
• Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell and Splunk.
• Proficiency supporting PCs, laptops, video conferencing solutions, software, and mobile devices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and remediate complex issues, perform root cause analyses, and recommend actions to reduce future risk.
• Ability to identify urgent issues based on business impact while maintaining composure in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Inquisitive mindset and desire to learn and work with new technologies.

• Provide rotational 24/7 on-call support and travel domestically and internationally as needed

WHAT YOU’LL DO

WHAT’S REQUIRED

• Previous experience supporting investment professionals in the financial industry
• Knowledge of market data and electronic trading platforms, including Bloomberg and Neovest
• Scripting and automation experience using PowerShell and Splunk
• Proficiency supporting PCs, laptops, video conferencing solutions, software, and mobile devices

The annual base salary range for this role is $110,000-$170,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
