Job summary

Johnson Electric is seeking an IT Network Manager to design, implement, and support a secure, scalable network infrastructure for manufacturing operations. You will serve as a technical on-site leader, collaborating with global IT teams to ensure performance, reliability, and cybersecurity compliance across enterprise and plant-floor systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years in IT infrastructure, networking, or architecture.
• 3+ years supporting OT networks in manufacturing environments.
• Strong expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, SD-WAN, IP addressing and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable LAN, WAN, and OT network architectures.
• Lead and mentor a team of Network Administrators on-site.
• Manage core/edge switches, OT networks, and Wi‑Fi access points.
• Implement Layer 2/3 protocols and plant-floor OT segmentation (Xona).
• Deploy enterprise cybersecurity solutions (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Zscaler, Defender).
• Collaborate with global teams to enforce infrastructure standards and document procedures.
