CACI International Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Network Engineer to support mission‑critical communications and network infrastructure across dynamic operational environments.

You will design, install, configure, and maintain advanced networking systems while ensuring DoD standards compliance. You will lead site surveys, capability analyses, and engineering documentation, coordinating upgrades with cross‑functional teams to sustain ops readiness and contribute to national security missions

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Active Top Secret clearance.
  • 6–8 years of DoD or federal network engineering experience.
  • DoD 8140 Level II Certification.
  • Experience executing STIG checklists and remediation.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain LAN/WAN, deployable networks, and satellite terminals.
  • Configure routers, switches, firewalls; terminate cabling per standards.
  • Perform site surveys, capability analyses, and document maintenance procedures.
  • Develop engineering documents, drawings, test plans and rack elevations.
  • Coordinate system upgrades with cross‑functional teams and test cycles.
  • Ensure NTP timing synchronization and integration with OPS centers.

In this role, you will design, install, configure, and maintain advanced networking and communications systems while ensuring compliance with DoD standards and contributing to a highly collaborative technical team.You will support operational readiness by performing site surveys, conducting capability analyses, developing engineering documentation, and coordinating system upgrades with cross‑functional teams. This position offers the opportunity to impact critical national security missions while working with cutting‑edge technologies.Responsibilities:Install and configure a wide range of communications and networking systems, including LANs, WANs, deployable networks supporting satellite terminals, telephony, and VTC systems.Integrate network equipment across transportable, mobile, and fixed-site operations centers.Install and configure routers, switches, and firewalls; terminate network cabling and implement communication infrastructure.Conduct site surveys and perform capability analyses for Operations Centers (OC).Verify compliance with established installation standards and engineering best practices.Design and implement networking/communications suite equipment.Develop technical documentation including drawings, user guides, rack elevations, pin-outs, test plans, procedures, and maintenance manuals.Collaborate with development and test teams to support system upgrades and testing cycles.Configure and verify Network Time Protocol (NTP) accuracy and timing synchronization.Contribute effectively within a team environment and support mission-driven engineering tasks.Qualifications:Required:BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.Active Top Secret.6–8 years of demonstrated experience supporting DoD or other federal agencies in a network engineering capacity.DoD 8140 Level II Certification.Experience running manual STIG checklists and applying appropriate remediation actions.Desired:10+ years supporting mobile tactical networks for OCONUS‑deployed DoD personnel.Cisco Networking Certifications (e.g., CCNA or higher).Active TS/SCI clearance.-What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
