Job Description: About the Role: We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Manager, R&D Business Technology to join our Information Technology team based out of our corporate office in Oak Brook, IL. This role serves as the strategic technology partner for Research & Development, Product Innovation, and Commercialization, driving technology solutions that support product development, formulation, specifications, portfolio management, and commercialization. The ideal candidate will partner closely with business leaders to improve processes, enhance data quality, accelerate speed-to-market, and maximize the value of technology, automation, analytics, and AI across the innovation lifecycle. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
Important Details: The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $100,800 - 151,200 USD annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics and business or organizational needs. For certain roles, the successful candidate may be eligible for annual discretionary merit compensation award, bonus and equity pay. This is a full-time position based out of our corporate office in Oak Brook, IL, with a hybrid work schedule; a fully remote arrangement may be considered for the right candidate.
You’ll fit right in if you have: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline is required. 5-7+ years of experience supporting enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Product Portfolio Management (PPM), or R&D technology platforms. Deep expertise with SAP PLM/PPM, Product Specifications, Recipe Management, and related SAP capabilities, with broader SAP experience in MM, PP, and QM preferred. Strong understanding of product development, innovation, commercialization, Quality, Regulatory, Master Data Management, and product data governance processes within consumer-packaged goods, food manufacturing, or similar manufacturing environments. Proven experience leading cross-functional business process improvement and technology transformation initiatives, including evaluating, implementing, and supporting PLM platforms and related digital solutions. Experience with workflow platforms, low-code application development, automation technologies, and emerging digital capabilities is preferred. Strong business partnership, stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to translate business strategies into technology roadmaps and drive alignment without direct authority.
