Job summary

The Imagine Group, An Imagine Company in Buffalo, NY is seeking a tenured Performance Test Engineer to lead performance testing efforts on flagship banking projects. The role is Hybrid/Full Time on a 1+ year contract to hire, paying $60 per hour, with on-site presence required four days a week.

Responsibilities include designing test plans, building and executing scripts (LoadRunner/JMeter), analyzing results, and delivering stakeholder updates.

Qualifications

• AS Degree in Computer Science, IT.
• 5-7 years of C-coding in LoadRunner and end-to-end performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with JMeter or Blazemeter and/or Dynatrace.
• LoadRunner Cloud or LoadRunner Enterprise skills.

Responsibilities

• Performance test plans and strategies using LoadRunner Enterprise or Cloud tooling.
• Create and run complex performance test scripts (functional, load, stress, endurance).
• Test results to identify bottlenecks, issues, and areas for improvements.
• Provide updates and reports to Stakeholders and technical team members.
• End-to-End performance cycle testing including coding, scripting, and analysis.
• Design and implement load, stress, and endurance test plans.
• Produce roadmaps and identify potential risks.

Imagine Group is working with our well-branded banking client for a tenured Performance Test Engineer to focus on cutting-edge projects. Position Hybrid / Full Time / $60-HR / 1+ year Contract to Hire. Technical skills of performance running, planning, testing, C-coding, plus JMeter project experience.

The position is located Buffalo NY; individuals need to be onsite 4 days/week.

• Performance test plans and strategies using LoadRunner Enterprise or Cloud tooling
• Create and run complex performance test scripts (functional, load, stress, endurance) to simulations
• Test results to identify bottlenecks, issues, and areas for improvements
• Required to provider updates and reports to Stakeholders, Leadership and technical team members
• ‘End to End’ performance cycle testing and planning, coding, scripting, and analysis reviews
• Design and implement load, stress, and endurance test plans
• Produce roadmaps and identify possible risks and problems
