Prolific is building the biggest pool of quality human data in the world. The role involves partnering with research teams to provide insights into workflow management tools and development processes.

The Role

We are inviting experienced professionals in software engineering, product management, and UX/product design leadership to participate in research projects focused on workflow management tools and development processes. Your participation will include a quick 10- to 15‑minute assessment, followed by paid tasks such as interviews, written tasks, surveys, and feedback activities. Successful participants will be paid up to $200 per hour for one hour or more of uninterrupted work.

Responsibilities

• Complete a paid screener to assess background and suitability for research tasks.
• Participate in AI‑moderated interviews and written tasks.
• Complete qualitative surveys and feedback activities.
• Share insights about workflow management practices, tool selection, and organizational needs.

Qualifications

• Hold a manager‑level position or above in software engineering, product management, or product design.
• Experience evaluating, selecting, implementing, or managing workflow management tools.
• Familiarity with software development, product development, or design workflows.
• Involvement in purchasing decisions, tool selection, budgeting, or strategic recommendations related to development and collaboration tools.
• Direct experience with tools such as Jira, Linear, Azure DevOps, GitHub Projects, GitLab Issues/Boards, Shortcut, Asana, ClickUp, or Monday.com.

Eligibility Criteria

• Manager‑level position or above.
• Work in software engineering, software development, product management, or UX/product design.
• Currently use, or are actively considering using, workflow management tools.
