The IT Inventory Specialist will collaborate with a tight-knit team focused on procurement and asset management. This is an in-person, full-time role (40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, no overtime required) based in Manchester, CT.

  • Experience with inventory management or similar (1–2 years preferred)
  • Create and send purchase orders for hardware, software, and services
  • Maintain shipping and receiving records and ensure adequate stock levels
  • Assist with shipping, resolve accounts payable issues, and support device management processes
  • Create and maintain documentation for new and updated processes
  • Issue RFQs, RFPs, or bids and track assets using asset management software
  • Conduct and document periodic asset audits
  • Deploy base images onto new laptops
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement and asset management processes

Preferred Competencies & Skills

  • Knowledge of supply chain or procurement processes in an IT environment
  • Vendor relations experience
  • Familiarity with SAP
  • Experience using asset tracking or ticketing platforms

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in inventory management or a similar role

Physical Demands

  • Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Ability to move throughout all areas of the office
  • Move objects up to 100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Stand or sit continuously to perform job functions
