Job summary

First Horizon Bank offers an Intern – Information Technology program with a 10-week duration featuring structured exposure to cloud analytics, core banking applications, and technology operations through a collaborative internship.

Participants will work with mentors, complete real projects, and develop practical skills in Azure, SQL, and software development lifecycles while exploring various technology domains within the bank.

Qualifications

• Full-time undergraduate student with anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and May 2028.
• GPA of 2.75 or above.
• Strong interest in computer science and problem solving.
• Resourcefulness, team-oriented, enthusiastic.
• Demonstrated leadership and self-development (work or campus).
• Ability to interface and network with people at all levels of an organization.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Strategic and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Documenting project deliverables which could include triage and research.
• Supporting cloud-based analytics and reporting initiatives using tools such as Azure or other cloud services.
• Gathering and analyzing data for technology KPIs which could also include directory monitoring.
• Collaborating with business and other technology partners.
• Technology potential areas of work include Emerging Technology, Digital Banking, Commercial Specialty, Core Banking Applications, Infrastructure, Technology Business Office, Data & Cloud, or Information Security.
• Performing all other duties as assigned.
