Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an IT Internal Audit Manager in Hawthorne, CA to lead SOX ITGC and IT-focused audits across software development lifecycle changes. This hands-on role partners with IT, Engineering, and Finance teams to design and test controls in both packaged and in-house applications.

Responsibilities include managing end-to-end IT audits, evaluating lifecycle controls, and guiding remediation. Strong preference for Big 4 experience and relevant certifications like CISA or CPA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 6+ years of audit experience.
• Big 4 internal audit experience preferred.
• CISA, CISSP, CIA, CISM, CRISC or CPA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT audits with focus on ITGC, access management, change management, and IT operations.
• Evaluate software development lifecycle controls across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Design risk-based audit programs covering applications, infrastructure, cloud, data integrity, and implementations.
• Perform SOX 404 ITGC testing and related walkthroughs; assess control design and operating effectiveness.
• Identify control gaps and remediation actions; partner with IT and engineering teams.
