Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking an Internal Audit intern for the FAR Program. This paid, ten-week summer internship supports the IA Information Technology team with networking, assignments, group projects, and mentorship.

Gain exposure to audit testing using Alteryx and Tableau, plus training sessions and leadership interactions. Position is based in the Fort Mill/Charlotte area and requires active pursuit of a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Current sophomore or junior.
• GPA minimum of 3.0.
• Offer contingent upon completion of bachelor’s degree, successful background screening, and local to Fort Mill/Charlotte office.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of how a medium-sized publicly traded company operates, including exposure to systems, databases, and applications.
• Participate in process walkthroughs and perform audit testing per standards.
• Use Alteryx and Tableau to perform audit testing and build continuous auditing/monitoring programs.
• Practice project management through handling various assignments and projects.
• Expand knowledge through training and online courses.
• Interact with company leaders to understand career options at LPL Financial.
• Partake in department events and meetings during the internship program.
