Job summary

LPL Financial is offering a paid Internal Audit internship through the FAR program for ten weeks, designed to support the IA Data Analytics team. The program includes mentorship, group projects, networking and learning sessions, with a focus on real-world experience in a medium-sized publicly traded company.

Participants will gain exposure to systems, databases and audit testing using Alteryx and Tableau, while developing project management and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current sophomore or junior.
• GPA 3.0 minimum.
• Offer is contingent upon completion of bachelor’s degree, successful background screening, and agreement to be local to the Fort Mill/Charlotte office.

Responsibilities

• Gain an understanding of how a medium-sized publicly traded company operates with exposure to systems and databases.
• Participate in process walkthroughs and perform audit testing per dept. standards.
• Use analytics tools such as Alteryx and Tableau to perform audit testing and build monitoring programs.
• Practice project management through various assignments and projects.
• Interact with company leaders to understand career options at LPL Financial.
