Job summary

Waters Corporation is seeking a summer IT/software development platform intern for our Milford, MA office (hybrid/remote). The 10-week program starts Spring/Summer 2026 and offers real-world experience at a global life-science analytics leader.

Ideal candidates are CS students with curiosity, courage, and teamwork mindset. You will contribute to automation projects, attend agile ceremonies, and gain exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and Datadog.

Qualifications

Overview

Waters Corporation is always looking to hire outstanding future talent for our company. TheInformation Technology / Software Development Platformteam is looking to hire a summer intern out of our Milford MA office (hybrid/remote). This internship is a phenomenal opportunity to gain real-world experience while working at the world’s leading specialty measurement company. This internship will last approximately ten weeks and the program will commence in the spring/summer of 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Working with the Software Development Application Support team the candidate will:
  • Attend and participate in daily standup and agile planning meetings including Backlog Refinement, Retrospectives and Sprint Planning
  • Design and build solutions using programming languages like Python.
  • Design, plan, and execute project tasks for a variety of automation and integration projects related to applications supported by the team including Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Sonar, Artifactory, and Datadog.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and configuration as code.
