Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in San Diego is offering the Internship Program - ITS (Information Technology Solutions). The program builds a foundation for future technology professionals through challenging projects and yearly rotations.

Interns engage in QA, software development, and support across IT domains, with the goal of transitioning to job offers after schooling. The position is onsite five days a week, with relocation assistance and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program at an accredited school.
• GPA of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
• 0-3 years of related experience.
• Previous internship and/or relevant project experience in a technology-related field.
• Must be able and willing to relocate to San Diego, CA for the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Complete yearly rotations in IT departments such as Engineering, Enterprise Applications, Client Support Services, Cybersecurity, Solar Analytics, Infrastructure Services, and Manufacturing IT.
• Assist in quality assurance, software development, customer support, project management, and system administration.
