Job summary

Directive Consulting is seeking an IT Intern for a part-time role (4 hours/day) to support our IT team. This hands-on position offers exposure to IT support, security, asset management, and user onboarding/offboarding processes.

The ideal candidate is pursuing or recently completed a degree in IT or CS, tech-savvy, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. Training and mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of IT systems and tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and knowledge base platforms (e.g., Notion) is a plus.

About The Role

This role is part time (4 hours a day) and reports to the IT Manager. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Intern to support our IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands‑on experience in IT support, security, asset management, and user onboarding/offboarding processes. The ideal candidate will be tech‑savvy, organized, and eager to learn while contributing to the smooth functioning of our IT infrastructure.
