Caterpillar invites IT interns to gain hands-on experience at a world‑leading manufacturing company. You will support IT operations, participate in development, testing, and documentation, and collaborate across teams to understand business needs.

The 12-week, 40-hour-per-week internship provides exposure to IT systems, emerging technologies, and professional growth in a corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript; Agile/Scrum knowledge
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript; modern web app concepts
• Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) and SQL/DB basics
• Understanding of Windows, Linux, macOS, TCP/IP, DNS, network protocols
• Scripting, automation, or tech problem-solving with APIs, AI, or infra automation
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to manage priorities and collaborate

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, testing, and implementation of IT solutions.
• Support IT team with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document business requirements.
• Participate in maintenance and upgrade of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and provide recommendations.
• Create technical documentation and user guides; generate reports for decision-making
