Job summary

Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions is seeking an IT Intern for the Corporate IT team at our Canton, MA office. The internship runs about 8-10 weeks starting early June 2027, as part of an Agile Scrum team gaining exposure to the full SDLC across BI, web apps, and services.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor's degree with some CS coursework or self-taught experience, competent in Word/Excel, and have relational database knowledge (MS SQL Server preferred).

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Some CS coursework or relevant self taught experience.
• Ability to write queries and work with relational databases.
• MS SQL Server experience preferred.
• Competency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Join an Agile Scrum team to design, develop, test, and implement BI reports, web applications, and services.
• Diagnose and fix problems as they arise.
• Communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences across the company.
• Learn and contribute to the full systems development life cycle.
