Job summary

Wilson Logistics is seeking an entry-level IT Help Desk professional to join our team in Missouri. You will respond to user requests, troubleshoot problems, and help maintain computer systems across the organization.

You will set up computers, printers, phones, and assist with PC performance upgrades while collaborating with the IT department on current projects. Some after-hours work and weekend availability are required.

Qualifications

• Working toward IT/Computer degree or relevant field.
• 6 months related experience preferred.
• Highly organized and able to work independently with little direction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid skills in Windows, Microsoft Office and other Windows-based software.
• Experience with ConnectWise Automate (LabTech), O365, iCloud, PowerShell, Batch Files, SSMS, SSRS, or MS SQL a plus.

Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assisting the IT department in maintaining all computer systems for Wilson Logistics.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:· Help Desk Duties - respond to user requests for service, troubleshoot problems and help develop solutions.· Computer/Monitor set up.· Printer set up.· Diagnose and fix user problems (invalid log in/start up issues).· Phone/Voice mail set up.· Perform minor repairs to equipment and arrange for other servicing needs.· Assist IT department with current projects, perform special projects as determined by the manager.· Assist IT department with PC performance rebuilds/upgrades/fixes.· Some after hours and weekend activities are expected.COMPETENCIES· Problem Solver – resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyzes information skillfully.· Confidentiality – must have the ability to be trusted with Personal Identifiable Information (PII).· Organized – must be able to quickly organize the daily schedule and maintain structure throughout the workday.· Detailed Oriented – must be able to pay attention to details and makes a conscious effort to understand to root causes of situations.· Judgment— must display willingness to make decisions, exhibits sound and accurate judgment and makes timely decisions.OTHER DUTIESPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
