Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America offers an internship focused on hands-on training and mentorship from seasoned professionals. Job description

An internship with Heidelberg Materials is a unique experience. You’ll receive hands‑on training and mentorship from some of the most talented professionals in the industry, while making meaningful contributions throughout your time with us. Interns also have opportunities to engage with senior leadership, participate in community initiatives, and build lasting connections with peers both inside and outside the workplace.

What You’ll Be Doing

Support the analysis, documentation, and improvement of business processes and digital workflows.

Assist with configuring, testing, and maintaining business applications and systems.

Gather and organize business requirements from stakeholders across multiple functions.

Create and update system documentation, process maps, and user guides.

Support data collection, validation, reporting, and dashboard development efforts.

Participate in system testing, troubleshooting, and user acceptance activities.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Help monitor system performance and recommend enhancements that improve user experience and operational efficiency.

What Are We Looking For

Currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Demonstrated interest in digital technologies, business systems, and process improvement.

Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and solve problems effectively.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
